APPLICATION PROCESS

​

  • Please state your child’s name and ‘reg fee’ as a reference.

  • Once payment of the registration fee and application form has been received, your child’s name will be placed onto our system.

  • Should a place be available, you will contacted and invited to meet with the head of school and tour the premises.

  • If your child meets our admission requirements, and importantly, if our school meets your family's requirements, a placement fee is payable on acceptance of your child to the school.

  • Should your child be accepted into our school, you will be required to sign a Service Agreement.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

​

The Bambinos (Toddlers: 18 months - 3 years old)

  • We accept toddlers from 18 months old.

  • Toddlers must be able to walk independently, sit independently and be able to vocalise their needs.

  • Comfort objects are welcome whilst assisting the toddler with settling in.

  • Potty training takes place during this phase and we work closely with our families in this regard.

  • We welcome settling in visits prior to enrolment.

The Children's House (Preschool: 3-6 years old)

  • Our children must be fully potty trained prior to admission into the preschool group.

  • Preschoolers must be able to express their needs and with support, work towards independent learning in the Montessori environment. 

  • Settling in visits may be required prior to admission in order to ascertain suitability of the environment for the child.

The Cosmos (Elementary: Grade 1-4)​

  • In order to ensure a smooth transition, we require all children entering Elementary to have previously attended a Montessori school for at least 2 years. 

  • We require new applicants to spend two work cycles in our Elementary group, prior to admission in order to ascertain suitability of the environment for the child.
